At Al Hammam, we offer traditional hammam experiences in Athens and Chania, created for deep relaxation, cleansing and renewal. On arrival, our team will guide you through the experience you have selected. We provide everything you need, including a peştemal towel, slippers, a kese exfoliating glove and soap. You are welcome to bring your own swimsuit; disposable underwear is also available. Please let us know when booking, or on arrival, about any health condition or other concern that may affect your experience.

A hammam is a traditional steam-bath experience that combines warmth, water, cleansing and exfoliation, leaving the body relaxed and refreshed. Depending on the service you choose, your experience may also include a kese exfoliation, olive oil soap foam massage, hair wash, facial care or massage.

Your hammam experience may include steam relaxation, full-body exfoliation with a traditional kese glove, cleansing with olive oil soap foam, hair washing and a nourishing hair mask. Selected services may also include a foam massage, facial care or additional massage treatments. The exact sequence and duration depend on the service you choose.

You do not need to bring anything specific, as we provide a peştemal towel, slippers, a kese exfoliating glove and all products required for your selected service. You may bring your own swimsuit for additional comfort; disposable underwear is also available.

Yes, you may speak quietly inside the hammam. However, we ask all guests to maintain a calm atmosphere and respect the relaxation and privacy of others. During treatments, your therapist may also ask you to limit conversation so you can fully enjoy the experience.

We use carefully selected professional products suited to each hammam and wellness service, including olive oil soap, exfoliating products, hair-care products and facial-care formulas. Payment for your hammam appointment is made at the selected Al Hammam location on the day of your visit, unless different payment terms are stated during the booking process. Gift cards, private events and group bookings may follow separate payment arrangements, which will be confirmed in advance.
